Setting A Gallus onTap Menu's Hours

Before You Begin

Make sure you have an adequate understanding of Gallus onTap by reading our How Gallus onTap Works article.

A Word On Hours

When settings hours for an onTap menu, there are two separate topics to be covered:
  1. Menu Hours- Control when the menu can be ordered from (how long your restaurant is open).
  2. Category Hours- Control when any section of the menu can be ordered from (Breakfast for certain hours, lunch, etc.).
  3. Item Hours- Control when a specific item is displayed within a category, within a menu.

Steps To Complete

Setting Hours For An Entire Menu

  1. Log into your Gallus Golf Admin Dashboard.
  2. Click Customize App --> Gallus onTap on the left side of the page.

  3. A new window opens. Use your onTap credentials (provided by your Gallus Golf account manager- email us if you need them) to sign in.
  4. On the left side of the screen, click Settings.

  5. On the menu that appears, click Settings again.

  6. On the ensuing page, click Hours at the top of the screen.

  7. On the ensuing page, add hours by clicking Add on the applicable day and toggle between menus under the Locations tab at the top of the screen.

NOTE: These hours will control when users are able to order from the menu. Outside of these hours, they will still be able to view the menu and order in advance for a pickup time within the menu's hours.

Setting Hours For Specific Categories

  1. Log into your Gallus Golf Admin Dashboard.
  2. Click Customize App --> Gallus onTap on the left side of the page.

  3. A new window opens. Use your onTap credentials (provided by your Gallus Golf account manager- email us if you need them) to sign in.
  4. On the left side of the screen, click Menu.

  5. On the menu that appears, click Category.

  6. On the ensuing page, click the pencil icon to the right of the category you'd like to edit.

  7. On the ensuing page, click Availability at the top of the screen.

  8. To set a specific availability, click the box underneath Availability and select Specific Time.

  9. Edit the details as necessary, then click the Save icon in the top-right of the page when finished.

This only changes the availability of certain menu categories within the whole of your onTap menu. When they aren't available, the menu categories will be hidden from view until they are available once again.
