How Score Posting Works
Before You Begin
This article will outline the process of posting a score to the World Handicap System through the
USGA's GHIN service

GolfNet
, or
Golf Canada
.

Posting A Score In The Virtual Caddie
Keep score in the
Scorecard & GPS
module
of a Gallus Golf mobile app.
Once the last hole of a round has been entered, a round summary page will appear. Tap
Post Round.
Enter the user's GHIN Number and Last Name, then tap
Login
.
On the ensuing page, enter/edit the following information:
Date (auto-filled to today's date).
Type
Tournament
Home
Away
Course (auto-filled to the course that was played in the app).
Holes
18 Holes
Front 9
Back 9
Tee
Gross Score (auto-filled to the total gross score entered in the app's scorecard).
The user can click the pencil next to the Gross Score if they would like the make changes.
Adjusted Gross Score (auto-filled after tee box is selected based on the course's slope/rating).
When satisfied with the information on the screen, tap
Post Score
.
DONE! A summary page of the posted score will be displayed to the user.
Posting A Score In The Profile
Click the Profile silhouette at the top-right of the app's
Home Screen
.
On the ensuing page, tap
Post Score
.
Enter the user's GHIN Number and Last Name, then tap Login.
On the ensuing page, enter/edit the following information:
Date (auto-filled to today's date).
Type
Tournament
Home
Away
Course (auto-filled to the course that was played in the app).
Holes
18 Holes
Front 9
Back 9
Tee
Gross Score (auto-filled to the total gross score entered in the app's scorecard).
The user can click the pencil next to the Gross Score if they would like the make changes.
