What Are List Blocks?

Overview

Lists are containers that group multiple Cards together on your app’s Home Screen. They help organize related content and can be styled in different ways depending on the user experience you want to create.

Think of a List as a section — like “Promotions,” “Events,” or “Golf Courses” — that holds several Cards inside it.

Designing Lists: What You Can Customize

You control the layout, title, and style of each List. 

🧱 Structure & Content

You can update the following elements:

TitleShows a text heading above the list. Optional. Change the default Title.
List Style
Choose how your lists displays:
  1. Horizontal (swipe left/right)
  2. Vertical (scroll up/down)
  3. Wrap (side by side, scroll up/down)
Required. 
Card Size
Choose how your card displays:
  1. Full Width, depending on Style: Horizontal, Vertical, Wrap
  2. Half Width, depending on Style: Horizontal
Card Image Size
Choose how your images appear, if applicable
  1. Full = Original size; minimal constraints
  2. Cover = Cropped to fit 16:9; recommended
  3. Contain = Fits inside 16:9 without being cropped; most restrictive
  4. None = Will not display an image 
Pro Tip: Keep on default Cover if Prebuilt List includes images 
Card Image Alignment 
Choose where the image displays:
  1. Top = Above the text 
  2. Bottom = Below the text
  3. Left or Right = Next to the text
Required. 
Card DescriptionChoose if you'd like the card description to show. Default is 'yes' 
Description Max LinesLimits how much description text shows (Like 2 or 3 lines).
"View All" Action Link to View More if you're limiting the number of items. Optional. 
Visibility Available if you wish to schedule to limit the audience of this prebuilt block. Learn more about Visibility.

Similar to the 'buttons' layout; just remove the block title and you're good to go! 


💡Best Practices
  1. Use Cover Image Size for best visual results
  2. Limit description text to 2-3 lines for readability or use Max Description to truncate for you
  3. Make Block titles informative and inclusive to the content you're grouping (e.g, "Explore Our Menu", "Our Golf Courses")
  4. Use high-quality images for a strong presentation (take advantage of the image picker)
  5. Set “View All” Action if you want to limit the horizontal carousel and guide customers to a landing page
  6. Vertical Lists use Left and Right locations for your Images to condense visual space 
  7. Mix and Match - use a horizontal list, then a wrapped List, then a vertical list
