How Scheduled Rewards Work

What Are Rewards?

Rewards are a collection of special offers available through your Gallus app. They are only visible to customers who have created an account within your app. As a admin, you can create as many rewards as you'd like, each with custom content, and then give out that reward as many times as you'd like. Scheduling a Reward

  1. From the Quick Start Page in your admin dashboard, click Customer Dashboard 

  2. A new tab will open up. On the dashboard, click Rewards

  3. On the Rewards page, click Give Reward - a popup will appear to guide you through the process. 

Wizard Steps to Give or Schedule a Reward or Rewards


      1. Step 1: Reward

        1. Select one or more rewards to immediately give or schedule. 
        2. Note: all selected rewards will be sent to the same audience, with the same quantity, and on the same date/time.  
      4. Quantity

        1. How many times the customer can use the reward. 
      6. Expires

        1. When the reward will Expire. Leave blank if it should never expire.

        1. Choose who will receive the reward:
          1. All customers
          2. Customers with specific membership(s)
          3. A list of emails (copy/pasted)

      1. Step 3: Timing

        1. Choose when the reward will be delivered:
          1. Immediate
          2. On a future date and time

    1. Step 4: Summary
    2. A quick summary of what you setup:
      Info
      1. Rewards: Selected reward(s)
      2. Quantity: Number of uses
      3. Expires: Expiration date or Does not expire
      4. Audience: Who will receive the reward
      5. Timing: Immediate or scheduled delivery
      6. Option: Toggle 'on' to also make this a Download Reward. This allows future customers who download your app and create an account after the reward becomes available to access it. 
        1. To avoid confusion, set the Download Rewards date to match the reward expiration (e.g., May 31, 2025)
  1. Click Save to finalize and schedule your reward. 

  2. Rewards Given will now show up under "Giving History". 
  3. Rewards Given immediately will show up Completed where as scheduled will show Pending until the giving date/time. 

Managing Scheduled Rewards

Once scheduled, your reward(s) will appear in the Giving History tab as Pending. You can edit or cancel up until the scheduled delivery time. 
  1. On the Giving History list, click on the specific Reward you'd like to edit or cancel. 

  2. On the next page, click Edit or Cancel in the Giving History box. 

  3. On the popup, you can change the Date and Time scheduled along with the Download Reward option, if applicable.  

  4. Should you wish to change the Reward's quantity or when the reward expires, click on Edit under Rewards.

Remember you can add more customers to a reward at any time. By separating quantity, audience, scheduling and expiration date from the reward it allows you to use rewards over and over again. Need to Edit a Customer's Existing access to a Reward? Visit How to Edit or Redeem Customer's Rewards

Scheduled Rewards Analytics

High-Level Rewards Analytics

To view the overall Rewards analytics, complete the following steps:
  1. From the Quick Start Page in your admin dashboard, click Customer Dashboard.
  2. High-level metrics appear on the Dashboard page. 

    1. Customers - Total users with an account (includes users with or without an active membership or subscription). Click the box to learn more! 
    2. Rewards - Total rewards given and redeemed. Click the box to learn more! 
    3. Memberships - Annual membership revenue and number of active members. Click the box to learn more! 
    4. Payments - Subscription revenue and active subscribers. Click the box to learn more! 

Reward Specific Analytics

To view analytics for a specific reward, complete the following steps:
  1. From the Quick Start Page in your admin dashboard, click Customer Dashboard
  2. From the Dashboard, click on the Rewards analytics Card.
  3. On the Rewards Page, click on Giving History tab. 

  4. Click on a Specific Reward to view analytics:
