Receiving An Order
There are four options for order reception (click each link for a detailed explanation):
- iOS Application
- Receipt Printer
Gallus onTap menus can be updated any time in the
Gallus onTap admin dashboard. There is a specific process we recommend when adding new items to a menu- be sure to follow them in order for a seamless experience:
- Add Categories
- Add Options
- Add Items
If you do not have login access for an existing Gallus onTap menu, please click the chat box at the bottom-right of this page to let us know.
1) Adding Categories
The first step on the journey of creating your Gallus onTap menu is creating categories for each section of your menu. Some examples:
- Breakfast
- Lunch
- Appetizers
- Etc.
2) Adding/Editing Options
Options are the portion of an item that are up to the customer. Some examples:
- Side options
- Toppings
- Drinks included with combo
You as the admin can limit how many component options can be selected when a user is ordering. Let's take a look at an example:
A user selects a cheeseburger and would like to customize the toppings. There are three sections after the initial selection is made:
- Toppings (Unlimited)
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Pickle
- Onion
- Avocado
- Side (Choose 1)
- Fries
- Fruit
- Chips
3) Adding/Editing Items
Items are what everyone thinks of when they envision a menu- what you'll actually be eating! Things like:
- Cheeseburger
- Cobb Salad
- Carne Asada Burrito
- Etc.
When settings hours for an onTap menu, there are two separate topics to be covered:
- Menu Hours- Control when the menu can be ordered from (how long your restaurant is open).
- Category Hours- Control when any section of the menu can be ordered from (Breakfast for certain hours, lunch, etc.).
Luckily, you can edit both!
Pick Up & Delivery Availability
Every facility is different. That's why we've made the way customers receive orders from an onTap menu easily customizable! Each menu can be toggled to have just delivery, just pick up, or both!
Adding Users
Gallus onTap menus allow as many admins as you need to have their own unique login to the menu's backend dashboard.
