Adding A Payment Link To Your App

What's The Point?

In many situations, courses may want to take direct payments through the home screen of their app when customers are looking to purchase an item. In order to offer a clean and simple interface, this article will outline some payment options that can easily be added as a button in a Gallus Golf mobile app.

Payment Processors

Venmo


Commonplace in the United States, Venmo provides an iOS and Android app that allows individuals to pay you directly. Follow the below steps to get it set up in your app:
  1. Visit the Venmo signup page and follow the on-screen instructions to set up an account for your facility.
  2. Once your account is set up, click on the course's name on the right side of the header at the top of the screen and copy the URL once you've reached your profile's page.

  3. Follow the instructions in our How The Home Screen Works article to add the URL as a button.
  4. DONE! Customers will now be able to click the button on your app's Home Screen and be redirected to Venmo's app to submit payment directly to your account.

PayPal


For our customers inside or outside of the United States, PayPal is an excellent option to allow your customers to pay you directly through their app, with no external linking. Follow the steps below to get it set up in your app:
  1. Visit the PayPal signup page to set up an account for your business.
  2. Once your account is created, visit the PayPal.Me setup page to create a link to a payment landing page.
  3. Once finished, grab your PayPal.Me link and follow the instructions in our How The Home Screen Works article to add the URL as a button in your app.
  4. DONE! Customers will now be able to click the button on your app's Home Screen and be redirected to your PayPal.Me page to submit payment directly to your account through your app.
